Hello World

I’m Abby Eastvold, a Product Manager with over 10 years of customer service experience.

Currently, I am the Product Manager for a digital publication called IoT For All. I enjoy the challenge of increasing site performance and creating new features that provide value for our readers in an ever-evolving industry. Working at a start-up means that no two days look the same and I’m constantly learning something new. My proudest accomplishment thus far is owning SEO strategy that lead the site to have a 30% increase in pageviews for the first half of 2022 compared to the same period in 2021, and 5% increase in pageviews compared to the previous best first half of the year.

Before entering the world of technology, I worked in customer service for over 10 years. I ended my customer service career working as a Barista Trainer at the Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Chicago (it’s the largest in the world!). All of this customer service experience fostered the importance of teamwork in me. The added challenge of working at a tourist attraction during the pandemic also honed my ability to problem solve and understand customer behavior in fast-paced, uncertain environments. When I’m not at my computer I enjoy an ever-growing list of hobbies including hiking, climbing, thrift shopping, and spending dogs with my dogs.
